Meals are prepared with Francis, often in the open air, with fire at the center. Guests may choose to watch, participate, or ask questions as it unfolds. Francis leads hikes through the surrounding landscape, guiding the group through forests and mountains without marked paths. Each day’s rhythm adapts to the group and to the conditions.

Time on the island moves between activity and stillness. Walks, time by the lake, sauna and cold plunges, conversation, cooking, and simply being in the landscape all become part of the experience.

Mornings begin quietly, with breakfast at your own pace, often followed by a walk through the landscape and lunch shared outdoors. Evenings are for gathering around a fire and table, food at the center and stories shared long into the night.

Food is central to these experiences. All meals on the island are prepared by Francis’s team, following his cooking and recipes. Wine and cocktails are chosen with care for each meal, and our full selection is open for guests to choose their own.
